Dear MAP members,
As you know, I broke my knee cap in March. While I was recuperating, with my leg immobilized for six weeks, I had time to think about my life.
It became clear to me that I was trying to do more than I can do well, and that I needed to slow down for my mental and physical well being.
Looking at my commitments, MAP seemed the one to let go of because I had a Co-President, and the work would get done.
I am deeply grateful for Rebecca’s gracious understanding and her ability to lead MAP as its President.
I regret that my term as Co-President was exceptionally short. Thank you for the confidence you placed in me.
You did not get a chance to see how it worked out.
All blessings as you continue our work of peacemaking.
Florence Steichen
