One question: Why did the U.S. vote against the UN General
Assembly
Resolution calling on the World Court to issue a legal opinion
on the
barrier Israel is building along and through parts of the
West Bank, since
construction in the Occupied Territories is not permitted
according to the
U.S.- backed road map to peace? (World/Nation briefs December 9)
