Why is an understanding of Militarism necessary to address Climate Crisis and Environmental issues?

In our society and culture militarism touches us in endless ways, being intricately linked to the most important issues of our day: climate change, endless war, racism and more, as well as to the U.S. budget with the billions of dollars the U.S. spends to maintain a global empire.
Sponsored by the End War Committee of WAMM and Veterans for Peace Chapter 27.
