DESCRIPTION:IARP is delighted to collaborate with the Metropolitan Regional
  Arts Council (MRAC) to host an upcoming exhibit of Iraqi and Iraqi-Americ
 an art\, “Iraq Through Our Eyes.”  The exhibit will feature work by contem
 porary Iraqi and Iraq-American artists: Jamal Penjweny\, Jaafar Alnabi\, F
 atin Al-Jumaily\, and Adnan Shati.  \n\n'Flying is a metaphor that works o
 n many levels.  I wanted to show how we all carry a bit of the child withi
 n us\, and to show a side to Iraq that isn’t tragic” - Penjweny \n\nThe ex
 hibit will be on view from September 3 to November 27\, 2019\, in the MRAC
  conference room.  Visitors are encouraged to call ahead to assure that th
 e space is available for viewing\, and weekend or evening hours can be arr
